How it works

In the US, buyers usually pay Poshmark's shipping label, so we don't subtract shipping. Since October 26, 2026, Poshmark says label upgrades for packages over 5 lb come out of your earnings; add that as an other cost if it applies.

Poshmark's fee policy and its blog word the $15 boundary differently; we follow the fee policy.

The formula

  • Fee = $2.95 if price ≤ $15, otherwise 20% × price
  • Profit = price − fee − item cost − other costs
